TDIR Energy management solutions seek Lighting Installer Responsibilities and Duties: As a Skilled Lighting Retrofitter, you will be responsible for installing lighting products safely and neatly in the customer’s facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a high level of professional customer service and have a vast knowledge of lighting retrofit strategies. Removing existing fluorescent or HID light fixtures, installing new LED light fixtures, changing ballast and lamps, lighting retrofits, wiring, and or repair. Some projects may require working at heights up to 40 feet but most are performed on scissor lifts/ boom lift and ladders. Projects include - ( Lowes, Home Depot, CVS, Target, Walmart, and Warehouses to name a few) Prospective employees must: 1) have a valid driver's license, 2) have own reliable transportation to job sites, 3) have own tools or the ability to acquire tools, 4) have a willingness to learn and work, 5) be able to lift 50 lbs. We offer a peaceful and friendly work environment and sometimes individual assignments. A Lighting Retrofit Technician will: - Comply with TDIR Safety Policies. - Install lighting fixtures, lamps, ballasts, controls, or other items associated with lighting systems. -Work in a safe manner so as not to damage or disturb customer's facilities. -Work from lift, ladders, scaffolds, or roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures. -Perform physically demanding tasks while conveying knowledge of basic/specialized tools and equipment throughout the service job/work order process. -Must understand and conform to Government/Local regulations and ordinances as well as any/all required Safety Guidelines. Qualifications and Skills: The ideal candidate will satisfy the following requirements and qualifications: - High School Diploma or General Education Degree - At least 3 years of lighting and electrical experience. - Lighting and retrofit experience preferred. - Must be reliable and Aerial Lift Certified - Strong verbal and written communications skills - Positive customer service skills - NRLT, CSLT, and/or CALT Certification is a plus!
