Having hosted the largest climate mobilization in South Florida history, youth climate activists are heeding the call for Earth Day. Strike. The youth climate movement has been persistent. In 2019, we striked for our futures. In 2020, we voted for change and for politicians that will listen to us. But in 2021, the climate crisis is worsening and the fight continues. Our country and our world need to reckon with the impacts of climate change, environmental racism, and systemic inequality, and we will not stop fighting for transformative change. The power to shape our reality lies with us. Our fates are intertwined. We win together. We lose together.
