This position is a 6-month seasonal position. Maintain PSD’s playgrounds, athletic fields, lawn and grass areas, and parking lots. Hours are Monday-Friday 7:30 am - 3:30 pm. *Pay rate/salary is determined based on qualifications and experience relevant to the job description requirements. Full pay range may be found on the appropriate salary schedule. Employees hired new into a position are rarely qualified to receive maximum of the pay range. Essential Functions: --Mow and trim grass/lawns/fields --Rake and remove leaves --Perform light pruning --Prepare and maintain athletic fields and tracks --Provide minor sprinkler and fence repair Additional Responsibilities: --Plow and remove snow as needed --Weekend work as needed --Perform other job-related duties as assigned Education and Experience: --High school diploma or GED and one year of related experience required. Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: --Ability to safely lift and carry up to 70 pounds --Skilled in the safe operation of large commercial turf mowers and equipment --Skilled in the safe operation of trailer towing and the loading and unloading of equipment --Human relation skills --Ability to be a part of/work with a team Licenses Required: --Valid Colorado Driver’s License with a clean driving record, Commercial Driver’s License is preferred **When applying, candidates must submit a copy of their most recent motor vehicle report.
