To learn more about Saunders Construction Inc, please visit: The jobsite location is in Frederick CO Job Title: Warehouse Driver Reports To: Warehouse Manager Department: Warehouse Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt Pay Range $22-$25/hr General Purpose Make deliveries of equipment & materials to jobsites as directed. Maintain warehouse & yard. Perform duties specific to the running of the Saunders Construction warehouse. Duties and Responsibilities - Operate vehicles & equipment in a safe & courteous manner at all times. - Willing to train and CDL certify the right candidate but candidates compliant with CDL and/or DOT regulations as applicable are desired. - Safely load/unload & deliver equipment & materials. - Conduct regular and/or spot inventories of equipment, tools & materials. - Identify problems or potential problem areas and propose solutions. - Wash equipment & perform basic equipment service tasks. - Maintain accurate records, logs and inventories. - Perform warehouse/yard procedures & techniques; sorting, stacking, banding, etc. - Other tasks as assigned. - May be subject to overtime on an as needed basis. Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications, & Experience - Willing to train and certify the right candidate. Desired valid Class A CDL, DOT Medical card and clean driving record. - Able to work safely & productively without direct supervision. - Conduct a methodical examination reaching logical conclusions. - Maintain information in written & electronic formats. Familiar with basic computer programs; Word, Excel, - - Outlook, mobile applications, etc. - Correctly follow a given rule or set of rules in order to arrange things or actions in a certain order. - Maintain inventory; track receipts, delivery of materials, bill of lading, etc. - Arrange, coordinate, or schedule time and details. - Communicate information and ideas clearly, and concisely, in writing; read and understand information presented in writing. - Maintain and inspect operating vehicle on daily basis. - Physical Requirements of this position include: The following are some of the physical demands commonly associated with this position: - Spends approximately 20% of the time sitting, and 80% of the time either standing or walking while on the job. - Frequently* lifts up to 100 lbs, when moving equipment. - Frequently required to climb, crawl, stoop and negotiate ladders, stairs or other routes at and within project sites in order to fulfill duties. - Frequently uses verbal and auditory capacity enabling interpersonal communication as well as communication through automated devices such as E-Mail, telephone and radio. - Frequently employs eye, hand and finger coordination enabling the use of office machinery such as computer keyboard. - Frequently utilizes full scope of visual capacity to travel to project sites and observe/verify project progress in addition to operating automated office equipment. Constantly - Activity exists more than 2/3 of the time Frequently - Activity exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time Occasionally - Activity exists less than 1/3 of the time.
