Type: Part Time, Regular Employee, Non-Exempt Wage: $16.27 per hour + $4.22 H&W benefit per hour Benefits: paid sick leave, paid vacation leave, and 401(k) after you qualify Shift: Evening Shift: 6:30pm-12:00am The Commissary is open 6 days a week * Work schedule: Tuesday-Saturday Note: You must be able to work weekends and holidays, as needed. Closing Date: April 30, 2021 Essential duties include but are not limited to: ✔ The employee in this position will be cross trained in the duties of both Meatroom Janitor and Store Janitor, performing either position, as directed. ✔ As Meatroom Janitor, the employee will maintain the meatroom and meat cutting equipment in a clean, sanitary, and orderly condition, in compliance with the contract requirements. ✔ As Store Janitor, the employee will maintain the cleanliness of the facility, in compliance with the contract requirements, including glass cleaning, spot cleaning of walls and doors, restroom cleaning, sweep and mop commissary floors, cleaning of light fixtures and ducts, and planned maintenance per schedule requirements. ✔ This position is categorized as an “essential job,” and all COVID-19 pandemic-related safety requirements MUST be followed, for example the use of PPE including masks. Requirements: ✔ Previous janitorial experience in a retail grocery setting preferred; ✔ Knowledge of Commissary warehouse procedures preferred; ✔ Must be able to read and write English fluently and have the ability to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) to safely mix chemical cleaning compounds; ✔ Must pass federal Naval base access and DSHS background checks, pre-employment drug screen, and provide confirmation that you are authorized to work in the US.
