Description

Teddy is a sweet 3 year old boy but my fiancé and I both are now working full time and don’t have the time to keep an eye on him. he loves belly rubs, cuddling, and and purring. he’s a great family cat and is good with kids and small dogs, and possibly a calm larger dog. he meows when he wants something (like food), or when you talk to him and he’s talking back to you (lol). he tends to get overweight so i recommend feeding him sized portions. he has his diet cat food that i can send home with you. in the interest of honesty, he needs to be watched. if his nails are a little too long, he’ll scratch at the couch a little until you tell him to stop. i recommend getting him a scratching post and nail clippers to help with this. his nails need to be clipped regularly. i toilet trained him because i don’t like litter boxes. if you choose to continue to use the toilet for him, just be aware that he will have accidents and you’ll need to be patient with him, especially in a new home where he’s not used to anything. he just doesn’t prefer to use the toilet so if he sees somewhere he prefers, he’ll choose to go there instead. if you leave him in the bathroom to get used to the toilet, he’ll cry for a while and then get bored and use toilet paper and the trash as a toy, try to avoid leaving those where he has access to them if you do that. all of this gets better with time and as he becomes accustomed to your home and learns, accidents become less frequent and eventually stop all together. he can use a litter box just fine and with no accidents. he likes laser toys, i have one that i can send you home with. i also have his toothbrush and toothpaste to send home with you. he’s honestly the sweetest and i’m really sad to see him go because he has such a great personality, but i don’t like litter boxes and i can’t keep an eye on him like i used to be able to. as he adjusts to his new home and begins to learn what he is and isn’t supposed to do- he’ll get more adjusted and be easier. he’s definitely an indoor cat, although he doesn’t mind spending some time outdoors. i just want him to go to a good home that has the patience and ability to be watchful of him. because he’s due for his annual shots, i’m rehoming him at no cost, to go towards getting his annual shots. he’s not really outdoors or around any other animals so he’s fine but he technically is due. i am only sending him to a good home. i need to know that he’ll be safe, loved and well taken care of. serious inquiries only, .
