I think this dog is wonderful. She is about a year old. Looks like a chocolate lab mixed with a smaller, lankier breed...maybe some Aussie, Pointer, Collie not really sure! Just a beautiful darker colored dog. Maybe 45lbs. Short coat. Absolute sweetheart. I don’t think she likes being left alone...becomes very attached to her person (and/or maybe a companion dog - not sure if that keeps her from getting lonely or not). Makes a good jogging/hiking companion. Makes a great pet to relax on the couch with, too. Good with other dogs. She’s been fine around kids. Hasn’t been a playful type (except with her canine friends at home). Just loving. She comes across as strong and athletic outdoors and a lap baby in the house. This girl needs a best human friend or friends who want to do most everything with her. She’s good with manners. Good on a leash. I’ve rarely heard her bark. House trained. Apparently she knows obedience commands like sit and stay, but I haven’t seen her do them without my having a treat in hand. Lol. I think she figures out if she can “outsmart” someone or, you know, get away with not listening a bit. She seems very tuned in and smart.
