Looking for a Keyboard Player, who can play LEFT HAND BASS..... back up vocals a plus! I am a Guitar Player/Vocalist who currently has a Drummer who also sings back up vocals. My Keyboard Player was commuting from the PA/Maryland Boarder and no longer wants to travel the long distance to this area. Versatility is a must! The Music is mostly Playing Popular Hits of all Styles and Era's As far as Gigs, I am getting calls for bookings now, but have only accepted a few Festivals that I have already played in the past and am reluctant to book anymore until I get the right person to Play Keyboard. I am finding out that a lot of keyboard players are a little put off on the idea of playing left hand bass, but truthfully most of the music is not very demanding in my opinion. If you have never played in this kind of situation before, or do not think you will like this kind of gig, May I suggest that you put yourself to the test and at least give it a try and find out if your comfortable with it. Also, Band Rehearsal is not something that will be mandatory.... only as needed! In my experience, talented people need minimal rehearsal. They learn their parts and are ready to play the gig! And if your working often enough, the band should be getting tight playing together on the gig. Lastly, and More important than anything else, You will find there is no Drama, Attitudes, hang ups, etc...!
