I’m currently involved and connected to BET entertainment and the music industry. I am the Creator and Director of Level Up Performing Arts. We have been in business since August of 2019, starting as the Sacramento Community Choir, that is now Level Up Community Choir. We are a Non Gospel Dominant Choir, and we are not affiliated with a church. We perform all music, in a Performing arts and Theatrical style. The Level Up Community Choir focuses completely on community. We are for the Community and By the Community. Since our time together, we have performed for Matthew Knowles (Beyoncé’s Father), we have shared many local stages, on behalf of Social Justice issues from Davis Ca, and Sacramento Ca. We monthly, feed our Unhoused community every 2nd and 4th Sunday within a different city, and we feed 5 different locations. We’ve held a Sponsor based photo shoot, by Fashion Nova, reaching a more mainstream audience. We also have and accept foster youth and we provide our youth with the resources needed to work through Mental and Emotional Distress, along with employment opportunities for ages 16 and up. We also provide outdoor activities and events, according to new Covid regulations, to build community and a family oriented environment within our performing arts center. Only individuals that uphold such positive characteristics are desired to join us. Level Up Performing Arts brings a revamp to Musical and Theatrical arts. We are a educational based program that has 5 different dynamics to our program. Attached will be our “Why”, and what you will see more of from us in the near future. In the near future, students majoring in the area of engineering and recording will have educational options for college credits. This implemented program is still in the works, but a optional plan for all members involved with Level Up. Level Up also focuses on vocal enhancement and providing confidence within the performing arts through music recording. Currently, the Sacramento Community Choir will be the community soundtrack for the upcoming Docu series called “Speak Out Oak Park”, which is a Docu series based out of Sacramento Ca. Level Up strives towards excellence and we strive to walk in professionalism, and we are currently in Spring-Summer New Entry Orientation, holding online auditions for individuals who uphold the characteristics that we strive for. We are diverse, We Sing, We dance, We Act, We Perform, and We Love. We strive for responsible individuals, and people who are aware of the responsibility this lifestyle takes to be great.
