Description

As myself, my brother and another guy from Fort Jackson were walking down Main St. on a Friday night, I saw you three girls with a guy at a bus stop. I said "Hey, what's up tonight?" Your response was "get on the bus and sit in the front cause we have to sit in the back." When we all got off the bus and started walking down the dirt road, you walked closer to me and said some thing to me that I really enjoyed. I couldn't believe that you would pick me because you were and are the most beautiful girl I have ever seen in my life. But the next morning as I thought about you I really wanted to see more of you and later that day I saw you and some other girls cross the street. When I hollered over you shook your head and waved me off. Then I realized that f***ing Jim Crow was going to f*** everything up. I'm not sure why after 57 years, but I never forgot you and last year I thought more about you than ever before. You probably would not remember anyway but I think you worked at Woolworth at the time.
