Job Title: Field Technician Department: Roofing Production Position Type: Full-time hourly position with complete Benefit Package consisting of health insurance, health benefit package, PTO, etc. Additional benefits include Company cell phone or reimbursement, retirement plan, OSHA training, use of fleet vehicle for commuting, etc. Job Description: Operate a company-owned fleet vehicle across the state of Colorado for roofing material/equipment delivery, ladder postings, and customer service. Use computer skills for communication and recordkeeping related to roofing schedules, installations and permit inspections. Use strong written and verbal communication skills in interactions with team members throughout the organization to ensure accuracy, quality, integrity and outstanding customer service. Payment Schedule: Full-time hourly position with 40 hours per week guaranteed. Overtime may be available contingent on workload and schedule. Company provides truck, fuel, materials, and equipment for work-related purposes. Job Purpose: To ensure the quality and integrity of roofing installations and related permit inspections while maximizing customer satisfaction and company efficiency. Duties: • Photo documentation of jobsite conditions and uploading digital photos to company database. • Assist Inspection Coordinator with proper ladder placement and retrieval. • Assist Production Department with Field Support Requests. • Assist Production Department in organizing, handling, delivery, and tracking of equipment and roofing material inventory at company facility and assist Field Supervisor in coordinating use and movement of such materials. • Clean up of roofing debris on jobsites during/following work performed by roof installation crews. • Regular jobsite inspections prior to building department permit inspections. • Maintain safe driving record, mileage log and care for company vehicle and property, including related documentation and receipts. • Commitment to excellent customer service and company performance while maintaining maximum company integrity and efficiency. • Engage in continuing education and certification as directed by company management. • Adhere to company policies (provided in writing by management). • Any and all other tasks assigned by company management. • Supervised by the Field Supervisor and reports directly to the Production Manager.
