The City of Louisville invites motivated and hard-working individuals to apply for our Streets and Utilities Operations Technician I-IV position. Under general supervision, performs skilled manual labor in the maintenance and repair of various public works operations projects to include repair and cleaning of utility lines, installation and replacement of water meters, street maintenance includes: street cleaning, paint striping and patching. An employee in this position will operate a variety of light duty trucks, dump trucks, tractors, backhoes, street sweepers and front-end loaders. Work assignments are usually provided orally and the work is reviewed while in progress or upon completion. Performs other work as required.
