Who is the Ann Arbor T-shirt Company? The Ann Arbor T-shirt Company is an apparel decorator and Amazon seller out of Ann Arbor, MI. Our goal is to provide our clients with an easy and enjoyable way to celebrate their identity and interests by leveraging first-rate technology, systems, and service. We do this in two ways. One is by sourcing, decorating, and selling private label apparel on Amazon Marketplaces worldwide. The other is by providing custom apparel and accessory solutions to our community in both the B2B and B2C space. In this position, you will work to complete the production of both custom and retail embroidery orders. This involves running industrial embroidery machines to full capacity to fulfill orders properly and efficiently. Here’s what you can expect on a daily basis: -Selecting correct designs and thread colors -Trimming and finishing designs -Fixing thread breaks -Replacing bobbins -Hooping garments -Weekly and daily machine maintenance -Operating embroidery machines to their full ability -Troubleshooting basic problems that arise -Properly filling out data tracking for all orders embroidered -Proactively looking for new ways to contribute, and solve problems Are you a good candidate for this position? Must be self-motivated, have strong prioritization and multitasking skills as well as a strong sense of urgency regarding order fulfillment. Must be able to work independently for long periods of time as well as communicate effectively with other departments. Previous embroidery experience is preferred, but not required for the right candidate. Morning availability preferred (6am-2pm) but can accomodate eveings (2:30pm-10:30pm); schedules may vary with operational need.
