The Gilbert Residence has been serving seniors in our community since 1960. We pride ourselves in providing exceptional care to 90 residents in our Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Nursing Care units. Our mission is to continue a tradition of excellence by providing compassionate and dignified care for seniors in our community. A Resident Assistant provides exceptional resident care under the supervision of a Med-Tech. They will assist with activities of daily living, participate or lead activities with residents, and perform general housekeeping duties in the assisted living or memory care unit. Our care goal is to aid our residents to maintain an optimum level of independence, particularly with activities of daily living and social interactions. General Duties: -Assist residents with Bathing (tub or shower) -Assist residents with meals -Assist residents with using the restroom -Assist residents with grooming -Assist residents with oral hygiene and denture care -Assist residents to transfer from bed, chair, wheelchair. -Assist residents with use of walkers, wheelchairs, canes, braces -Assist residents in making beds and daily room tidying.
