Looking for small therapy dog for special needs child

Looking for a small dog that is good with kids, potty trained and likes to snuggle. The dog will be a companion for a child with PTSD and Autism. He needs a friend and someone to cuddle up next to him at night. Hes been begging since our dog passed away last year. Small dog only please, no pit mix or pitbull of any kind. Older dogs ok long as they aren't on their last couple years as it would add more trauma. Thank you! Do not spam please!
