Mover's Helper for moving and delivery company needed. Requirement: Must be able to lift and carry at least 100 pounds. Must work well with others. Must be honest, have integrity, and be reliable and healthy. Must have a clean back ground check for occasional military access. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening. Skills needed: Must have strong building skills with a delicate touch. Must be able to follow basic step by step written and diagramed instructions. Must have strong customer service and communication skills. Major Duties: • Performing pre-trip vehicle and cargo inspections and inventory counts for moving vehicles and be able to explain all aspects. • Knowing and understanding of how to help guide and maneuver large cargo vehicles (e.g. for parking and reversing). • Safely loading and unloading all equipment/materials over all terrains and properly secure all loads. • Assist the driver while riding to job sites (sometimes in excess of 50 miles from home base. • Receiving and completing tasks given by direct supervisor, manager or team leader whether at home base or on. • Often lifting and carrying up to and over 100lbs. • Performing all the above functions in a safe and timely manner in order to complete all tasks with zero personal injury, equipment and cargo damage, or property damage. Workers for this position will work 30+ hours/week with a 6am start time. Overtime hours may be be required during busier parts of the year.
