We are looking to hire a maintenance person on a part-time basis for a mix of on-call maintenance and scheduled maintenance. Perfect for someone who already has a part-time job in maintenance, handywork, or construction who is looking to add hours. You will receive hourly compensation for time spent coming out and completing the job. Most work will be between 11am-5pm, but emergencies can arise after 5pm. Paid weekly. With over 40 units as of 2021 and plans to expand, Tailwind is looking to grow their amazing team of friendly staff to help accommodate the modern dweller and make Columbus feel alive again. www.TailwindSTR.com Maintenance Task Examples (could include others): - Mounting - Toilet repairs - Caulking - Replace p-trap - Snaking drains - Painting walls/trim - Furniture repair - Fixing thermostat - Patch small hole in wall - Unclog sink drains - Replace shower diverter - Unclog toilet - Replace lightbulb - Replace toilet wax ring - Replace window AC unit - Light HVAC maintenance Skills Needed: - Basic plumbing knowledge (I.e how to snake a drain, how to check p-trap, how to change toilet wax ring, using white plumbers tape, etc) - Basic electrical understanding (I.e How to shut off a breaker in order to replace a light switch) - Excellent communication Requirements: - Reliable access to a car so can drive to rental locations. - Responsiveness, and ability to show up on time. - Ability to problem-solve and get things done.
