My family owns a nonprofit and i, personally, am an aspiring DJ, singer & songwriter, whose career as a musician is on the rise! One of our family members was the legendary Country Music Producer, Bob Johnston who made stars out of of many great musicians like Bob Dylan, Hank Williams, Jr., Johnny Cash & many more! Our nonprofit is in the process of trying to create a museum in his name in Nashville, TN (and maybe a branch in the LA area, too!) where the Nashville Music Hall of Fame had a whole floor dedicated to him when he died! *AND WE'RE LOOKING for local LA people to help us get established too, volunteer for now but possibly for pay in the future!* We're excited about the project but we have a serious family issue that MAY endanger our effort or may hurt our family's reputation & image one day! We really need some help getting it reined in fast! 😱 Despite all the fame in the past, our family is relatively poor now. Only one of us gets money from from what little royalties trickle and I don't want this potential scandal coming out later as we're getting established or possibly hurting her royalties in the future! The press could easily get their hands on it and bring us down and maybe even hurt the stars associated with us! I would seriously like to get an agent or manager who could help us handle our public image as the drama unfolds because it may wind up getting into a few headlines at some point! We're not sure yet but there's a real possibility of it. It's important that it all comes out as a POSITIVE reflection on us and not negative one!! It's quite a complex series of issues that I really want to bring into the spotlight as a message of hope & empowerment to many who may need someone to blaze a trail, as long as it leaves a good impression in the long run! HOWEVER, like I said, we're poor and cannot afford much... YET! It could, though, be a great boon for an agent or manager, if they want to stick with us through the long haul! I could pay SOMETHING out of my own pocket or maybe take up a collection for it but finances may be tight for a little while longer, as we get established. If anyone knows of someone who could do this, please contact me asap!!
