Summary Crescent, a multi-faceted supply chain service provider, committed to meeting the high standards of our Fortune 500 client base, is seeking a Full Time Forklift operator on second shift to join our Mason City, IA team. The Forklift Operator is a key role in keeping product moving and meeting our customer’s needs. Key Responsibilities -Read and Champion the Crescent Culture of Doing it Right, Doing it Safe and Doing it Well and abide by all written and understood procedures and policies. -Complete forklift inspection and trailer inspection form accurately and according to procedure. Operate all equipment safely, following safety procedures and being aware of your surroundings. -Perform receipts, inbound stock transfers, outbound stock transfers and inventory moves accurately and according to procedures. -Communicate with line leaders to prioritize, pull and stage inventory accurately and according to procedure to ensure efficient line operation. -Ensure the integrity of lot code is maintained through every product movement process. -Handle damaged inventory process accurately and according to procedure. -Pull, stage and load inventory accurately and according to procedure for shipping. -Assure outbound trucks are loaded according to Crescent and Customer requirements with consideration for weight, balance and load security. -Report all safety, quality, near misses, accidents, mistakes and product damages according to procedures. -Maintain targeted moves per hour. -Seek out opportunities to train and coach other people to improve the overall group performance. -Proactively seek out and identify areas for improvement. -All other duties as assigned. Requirements High School or Equivalent Minimum of 1-2 years experience operating a standup forklift Attention to detail Writing and verbal communication skills Basic math skills Reading comprehension Must be able to lift 80 lbs Ability to get on and off forklift Ability to work flexible hours (weekends included)
