The following responsibilities represent the essential functions of the position. An employee in this classification is responsible for carrying out the following functions: • Perform grounds keeping and janitorial duties. • Cut lawn using power or riding mower, trim, and edge. • Landscape by planting flowers, grass, shrubs, and bushes. • Apply pesticides, herbicides, and fungicides • Apply fertilizer at specified rates to turf and plants to enhance growth. • Sweep and blow walkway of debris. • Cut down tree limbs that are posing a danger. • Trim shrubs and pull weeds. • Perform preventive maintenance procedures and minor repairs on equipment utilized in grounds keeping. • Rake, mulch, and prune the grounds as needed. Qualifications: two years of related experience in a landscaping or groundskeeping role. Required Skills: • Must be able to operate maintenance equipment including lawn mowers, leaf blowers, and hedge trimmers • Strong knowledge of pest management and basic lawn maintenance • High attention to detail • Pass drug test Job Type: Full-time (Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with occasional overtime) IMMEDIATE TO APPLY SEND RESUME, OR REPLY WITH PAST 5 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE/ START WORK IMMEDIATELY
