My 2nd floor commercial slopped roof needed repairs, some TLC, some attention, I had multiple leaks. So I investigated solutions, and I got information for all types of roofing repairs. GACO, a white based Silicon solution guaranteed to stop and repair most, if not all, leaks on your flat ass, I mean roof. They had to investigate and determined if my roof was eligible for this repair, that it would be successful, my roof was eligible, so I went with it, my roof is about 30 ft. by 60 ft. Gaco is this is a very thick and heavy silicon roof coating, it is applied with a rollers or paint brushes, like pancake batter, a two coat system, it cost $18,000.00, and another $1000.00 for a 20 year, parts & labor warranty. One week after the installation, my roof was leaking, WHAT? And the skylight I had replaced, was installed incorrectly, they replaced an old skylight, with a new one, that wasn't supposed to leak. The inside frame, the wood frame from corner to corner is 1"from meeting the 45 angle, the other side is 1/8th inch, it looks like shit. Then the roofer, Skip, yea, skip, skip by the rules, this guy replaced a small section of asphalt shingles on the side of the building, after he finished the white silicone coating on the flat roof, then he came down and did the small shingle roof, and he got white silicone stains on the brand new asphalt shingled roof. WHAT?????? I'm paying top dollar, to a top company for this? His estimate was $4000.00 more than the next estimate. Since I did business with them before, I thought, let me build a relationship. DOWN THE DRAIN. WILL NOT RECOMEND THIS ROOFING COMPANY, BUT I WILL TELL YOU WHO THEY ARE.
