General Summary: Sheppard Motors Detail Technicians are responsible for washing, cleaning and detailing new and used dealership vehicles and customer owned vehicles along with maintaining the lot. The Detail Technician responsibility is achieved, in part, by understanding and living the Sheppard Motors Core Values as represented by our Core Values document and implementing the follwoing Expectaitons of Detail Technicians. The Detail Technician works in the detail department, and is supervised and works for the Detail Department Manager. The Detail Technician title is achieved through experience as a Lot Attendent. Physical and Work Demands: The physical and work demands listed below are representative of what is required to preform the primary duties and responsiblilties of the job successfully. Reasonable accommodations may be provided to enable Detail Techicians to preform duties and responsibilties. Physical: -Moving about the dealership to help complete auto service and repair. -Using hand and power tools and equipment consistent with industry standards. -Using a computer. -Standing for six to eight hours in a shift. -Bending, streching, lifting (up to 50 lbs), reaching, and climbing. -Moving vehicles. Work Enviroment: -Noise -Vibration -Dust -Exhaust Fumes -Other hazardous and non-hazardous materials -Extreme heat and/or cold -Working with water This Role Description is not an exhaustive list of expectations, responsiblities, skills, duties, requirments, efforts, or working conditions associated with the job.
