Remodel / General Construction Worker Needed

I am looking for a well-rounded worker to help out with residential rehab and make ready. I do rental and flip properties (mostly in Killeen & Cove) and am looking for someone to help me with all of the things that don’t justify bringing in a sub. Basic examples of the tasks include drywall repair, framing, demo, painting, siding, flooring & trim install, removing/replacing toilets, exterior carpentry, hanging doors, home depot runs, pressure washing, hanging fans, masonry repair, yard work, cabinet install, etc. AVAILABLE WORK I have a minimum of 3 to 4 days of work every week and would like to find someone who is a good fit long-term as I will continue to have work, potentially full time for the right person. We can work around a schedule if you have another gig *but* most work is Mon-Fri 9am to 5pm. ABOUT YOU The right person for this is reliable, communicates well and is able to be on time and work a full day. Minimal drama, minimal broken vehicles, no drugs, etc. You must have transportation (ideally a truck) and basic hand and power tools and expect to use them while on site. You should have reasonable experience in a few areas of construction and remodeling but I’m pretty flexible as long as you are skilled with basic repair and construction practices. Honestly, knowing everything about everything isn’t the most important thing to me *but* attention to detail and caring about a job well done is a must. We do good work and take time to make sure things are right. Bottom line, reasonable skills, flexibility and a “can do” attitude go a long way with me. DETAILS/PAY Pay is $15 an hour to start but negotiable for the right person. Employment is contract/1099 (you won’t be an employee) and you will need to be able to fill out a W-9 (ID & Social). Pay is typically at the end of the week but I’m flexible as reasonable.
