Small Breed DOG Wanted

I am looking for a smallish breed dog or older puppy that needs to be rehomed...no older than 1 year old preferably. Maybe a dog who was acquired during an impulsive buy, and someone knows it was made in haste, and was a poor decision after all, yet one made with the best of intentions nonetheless. Maybe someone who has a small breed pup who often wishes that they didn’t have a dog, don’t have the time for it, or whose kids have grown tired of it. Yet wants to be sure that the dog they got doesn’t end up with some jerk! A dog breed that is easily able to be held by a senior citizen wanting to turn the dog into a spoiled rotten baby, living a life of luxury, and who will even have 3 of his/her own meat lovers meals, prepared freshly by his loving parent every day. The dog will have a wonderful life, where it will spend most of its time on a lap, or being carried around in arms, as it will be treated like royalty. I am looking ASAP, as it’s predecessor recently passed away after 20 long years, and there is only a short window of time to make it inside the heart after a loss like that, and I want to be sure that we make it. Sooner the better. I’d hate for this heart to turn cold when all it needs is a canine companion to stop this course it’s on.
