Getting Back into Music Performance?

Hello! I will be moving up in a few weeks, and was wondering if anyone had any advice on how to get back into music -- preferably any intermediate concert bands or something of the like? I am not a beginner but I am a bit rusty, so I would be nervous to join any advanced groups (however, if that is the only option, I'd love to look into it and would absolutely try my best to keep up, haha.) I play the flute and piccolo, but have been out of practice. I haven't played since I got out of high school two years ago, as 1) I live in an apartment complex and 2) my community college does not have a band or any music performance classes to be offered. :( However, I still know how to play, and I am itching to do so, haha. I really would just love to find a community of people like I had with the last group I had, especially since I'll be new to the area. :) Please feel free to email me if you have any information on anything like this being available.
