FRAMINGHAM, MA — With consistent warm weather on the horizon, Jack's Abby is preparing to reopen for in-person service, a feature that was suspended this winter at the brewer's Framingham headquarters due to coronavirus. Jack's is planning to reopen its beer garden in Framingham possibly as soon as May — and that means the company is going on a hiring spree. The brewer is offering $500 signing bonuses for a variety of positions ranging from hosts and bartenders to kitchen staff like cooks, dishwashers and coronavirus safety personnel. The Jack's Abby beer garden last opened in June in the brewery's parking lot along Grant Street in downtown Framingham. The beer garden closed in November when cold weather returned. The brewer decided offer only curbside and takeout service due to fears coronavirus would return to Massachusetts during the colder months. Even with its beer hall closed, Jack's Abby has maintained its status as one of the biggest players in the New England beer scene. Jack's became the official brewer of the Boston Celtics in 2020 with the Pride and Parquet lager — which was released outside the TD Garden in January. You can find a full list of the job openings at Jack's Abby and instructions on how to apply on the brewer's website.
