Description

Since March was National Social Workers Month, Triboro Center on Teller Avenue had an intimate celebration in purple for the hard work their social workers on a daily basis. Each social worker was given a gift tote/backpack bag and a delicious Italian food luncheon. Administrator Nate Goldman thanked each one of them for what they've done to improve the quality of life of their residents. These social workers have to wear a number of hats and they are constantly fostering a climate, policies and everyday routines that enable Triboro Center residents to maximize their individuality, independence and dignity. Nate Goldman, from the back, speaks to the social workers and their teams at Triboro Center on March 31, 2021 "All of the behind the scenes these social workers do to help the residents, improve their lives and be open to their families is a tough but a very gratifying profession," said Goldman. "It's all about providing our residents with the highest practical level of physical, mental and psychosocial well-being and quality of life. They do it and that's not easy."
