Compensated Research Interview - Grocery Workers

Are you an essential worker working in a grocery store? Have you experienced unsafe working conditions? If you have dealt with the following experiences, you may be a good fit for this project: - Receiving less pay than promised - Issues accessing sick pay or sick leave - Being hurt on the job or getting sick as a result of your work I work for a non-profit organization that helps protect civil rights and economic justice. I am recruiting a few people to talk to me for an hour about problems they have experienced working in grocery stores or food service. We hope to use our findings from this interview series to help raise awareness about gig workers’ vulnerability to unsafe workplace conditions. I will provide a $50 payment via Venmo, PayPal, or Zelle to thank you for your time, and I am planning to start interviews beginning March 15st via phone call.
