Description
We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our Facilities Manager.
This position would start ASAP and be temp to hire.
Job Summary
In this role you will report to the Facility Manager and work independently on
facility and test equipment to resolve issues. You will support all groups by
designing solutions for difficult problems and manage projects. You will work
with outside contractors when needed.
Duties
--Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures
--Maintain and troubleshoot all facility related issues in the building
--Lead and audit preventative procedures
--Install, maintain, and troubleshoot ovens, motors, chillers, compressors,
lighting systems, testing equipment, plumbing, etc.
--Maintain positive working relationships across all of company operations
--Help to develop work plans for emergency repair of critical assets
--Have knowledge of 5S housekeeping protocols
--Other Duties as applicable
Basic Qualifications
--High School diploma or equivalent, Technician certification preferred
--3+ years of experience working in maintenance/facilities field
--3+ years of experience in electronic principles, national code (NEC), and
electronics
--3+ years of experience in general plumbing and mechanical
Knowledgeable with air and vacuum systems including Cryogenic
--3+ years conducting preventative maintenance of facility and
equipment
--3+ years of experience reading schematics and blueprints
