Dog Washer Needed The Royal Paw Spa is overbooked and understaffed. We are looking to add a top-notch dog washer and groomer's assistant to our team. We are seeking a calm, caring and compassionate person who will help maintain the positive atmosphere of our spa. Some experience with animals is a plus, but no prior grooming knowledge is expected. We are happy to train the right person. A can-do attitude, enjoyment of working with other people and animals, and compassion for animals are a must. The ability to lift pets up to 60 lbs., work long hours on your feet, and tolerance to noise is also a part of this job. Requirements: 1. A passion for animals 2. A positive attitude - able to shrug off irritation and not let it affect you 3. Must be comfortable with ALL breeds - including bully breeds and giant dogs 4. No animal allergies, product/scent sensitivities 5. Ability to stand for much of shift 6. Ability to work with hands much of shift - includes repetitive motions 7. Patience and attention to detail a must 8. Willingness to get dirty. This is not a neat & tidy job 9. Stamina and compassion - this is not a sprint, it's a marathon. You will get wet. You will get hairy. You will get smothered in puppy kisses and tail wags. This is an ON SITE position. It is not possible to do at a distance.
