Looking for gigs, have years of experience subbing and picking up quickly. Prefer rock, blues, funk, jam band stuff but have enjoyed playing in everything from original indie bands to supporting singer/songwriters, to subbing in a tribute band, to playing corporate hyper-produced mega church worship music. Yes: interesting gigs, with interesting tunes and players that love playing. Getting paid for our time is nice. No: endless rehearsals I’ve got a job and a family, live in the SW burbs, am old, but can fill a slot if you need it. I have the expected standards covered: gear, transportation, can follow instructions, play my role, and show up prepared. I can’t sing. Leads, harmonies, nope. Zombie gang shouting on a chorus, maybe.
