Description
I have a set of matching bookcases that require a bit of minor handiwork that I possess neither the patience nor wherewithal to complete. One has a fixed shelf that needs fixing (see photo), and, I think they could both use some whatever-you-call-it to make them sturdy and not wobbly. I really believe it’s an embarrassingly minor project, but I’m just not capable of/interested in doing it myself. I WILL, however, pay for whatever supplies you - the expert - think necessary to complete the task. I figure you could come by and eyeball it first, then we’d walk to nearby Ace Hardware in 4th Ave for whatever you think you’d need - which, really shouldn’t be much - then head back over so you can work your magic. They’re both relatively light and about 5’ tall. I just don’t want them to collapse once I actually place my book collection on the shelves.
Again, all totaled, I think it’ll take about an hour of your time once you get here. That’s including the short walk to/from Ace. Inquire with your rate only if you know what you’re doing, please.
