Renovation Technician Seeking a full-time Renovations Technician for apartment communities in Redmond, Kirkland and Lynnwood This is an amazing opportunity with a company that values their teammates and company culture. The Renovations Technician reports to the Renovations manager and will primarily help work on a 10-year planned project/overhaul of apartment units in Redmond, Kirkland, and Lynnwood. We are looking for someone with a wide range of skills and a willingness to learn, who is comfortable working on a team, primarily with a partner, or alone on occasion. The ideal candidate will possess ambition, great worth ethic and the ability to stick to deadlines. The renovations will be in vacant units and will consist of the following tasks: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Demo work of appliances, doors, cabinet fronts, countertops, plumbing and light fixtures Sheetrock repair Interior painting using an airless paint sprayer, roller’s, and paint brushes Millwork of doors and wall trim Installing plumbing and light fixtures Installation of new appliances Installation of Quartz countertops COMPENSATION $18-$20 DOE with bonus potential. EXPERIENCE Maintenance experience in multi-unit complexes preferred Experience with plumbing and electrical work Mechanical background preferred REQUIREMENTS Must have reliable transportation. A valid driver’s license, good driving record and proof of insurance is required Willingness to learn and adapt to our companies’ policies, procedures, and techniques Authorization to work in the U.S. Must be a hard worker and self-motivator. The ability to work well on a team as well as alone is a must Ability to follow instructions and installation schedules A passion to serve residents, vendors, and colleagues
