SUDBURY, MA — The Goodnow Library is expanding its reopening plan. The library reopened the week of April 1 with hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays for in-person browsing. Starting this weekend, the library will expand to add Saturday hours. "I sat at the greeter table all day, and it was wonderful to welcome folks back to the library," Library Director Esmé Green said in a news release. "People were so happy. We hope to progressively expand services when it is feasible and safe. It was wonderful seeing some of our patrons again and hope to see more patrons in the weeks to come." On Tuesdays, the library is open from 10 to 11 a.m. for people over 65, and noon to 4 p.m. for all other patrons. Then on Thursdays from 1 to 2 p.m. for anyone over 65, and 2 to 7 p.m. for all other patrons. Starting April 17, the Saturday hours will run 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. each weekend. The library's capacity will be limited to 25 on each day the building is open. Patrons will also still have to abide by safety guidelines, like wearing masks and minding one-way aisles. The Goodnow will also continue to offer curbside pickup on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 1:30 to 4:30 p.m., and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
