Stems Garden Design and Maintenance is a boutique gardening company looking for some temporary help for the next one to two months with the possibility of more work. Stems Garden Design and Maintenance has been in business for over 25 years. We are a high-end residential landscape and maintenance company that serves the metro Denver area. Stems Garden Design and Maintenance offers gardening services to clients who cherish the outdoor space they call home. Our excellent customer service places our clients at ease with the knowledge that their needs will be completely satisfied. We ensure our client’s outdoor space will grow and transform throughout the seasons and prove to be a beautiful, long lasting, and ever evolving experience. We are currently behind schedule due to our recent snowy weather on top of being very booked out with project, clean-ups, and summer annuals. We are looking for full or part-time gardening team members. A working knowledge of Colorado plant material and gardening practices is preferred but not required. We think fitting into the team environment is almost more important than experience as we are great in our training processes. Pay commensurate with overall experience. Must have a valid Driver's License. Duties Include -Work in a team environment and keep team members accountable -Maintain diverse plantings of trees, shrubs, vines, perennials, grasses, and annual plant materials -Perform seasonal work including pruning, annual plantings (in ground and in containers), general clean-up, improving soil through cultivation and composting, deadheading of annuals and perennials, dividing and transplanting of perennials, bulb planting, leaf removal. -Flexibility in working with the landscape construction crew (we split these duties up within the company) when needed -Scout for pests and diseases and report to crew lead -Completing daily jobs within given budgets of each client -Detailed documentation of work completed during each visit as well as areas that should be addressed during the following visit -Monitor client’s gardens for any unusual circumstances or events and reporting those back to management -Assist with training and support of new team members (if applicable) -Gain tree, shrub, perennial, and annual flowering plant identification knowledge out in the field -Communication/Interaction with clients -Finally… Develop, express, and incorporate your design aesthetics and creativity into the Stem’s vision throughout each property and project.
