Looking for SINGERS/Musicians for vocal based group

Description
Here's what I'm trying to put together: 1) A group of 3-5 people, dudes or dudettes, 20's to 100's. 2) I want everyone to sing, whether it's lead of backup harmonies. (Hey...obviously we're all here on Craiglist, so none of us are these top notch, absurdly pro level, "why didn't Barry Fey NEVER make me famous" kind of talent. However, YOU know if you can carry a tune, vocally play nicely with others and understands harmonies or willing to work on it.) 3) Obviously if you can play an instrument....no matter which one....that'll be a bonus. But if all you have is a voice and a "let's make something fun and worthwhile" attitude, that's enough for now. I want to start with good voices and good harmonies first, and then we'll worry about instruments. 4) What kind of genre, decade of music, niche, original or cover, kind of music we'll play will be up to us. However, I do believe for starters if you like pop music in general, that's a good place to start. When I use the term "pop music", I don't mean music with no soul. I mean "pop" music through the ages.... Beatles, Fleetwood Mac, U2, Supremes, Maroon 5, Def Leppard, No Doubt, Journey, Killers, Weezer, etc, etc. Not saying I want to play just these bands, or any of these bands for that matter. These were just examples of "pop" music type stuff. 5) I definitely want a band that will go out and play some gigs. I don't want it to run our lives, but definitely want something we're all proud of. And once or twice a month, we play a gig where our friends and family comes out to listen to us, have some fun and make some serious errors in judgement that we can hold over them at a later date. 6) If you caught the "Barry Fey" reference, you obviously know my age group... I'm 50.. and proud to be. People usually say I look like I'm in my late 30's or early 40's. I'm Polynesian/Native American so if you're a snot nosed, ageist racist that is threatened by a brown dude old fart that looks like The Rock without all the muscles, talent and money, then go away. 7) I don't want to hear "samples" of your music or voice necessarily right away. To me, being in the same room and feeling each other's vibe is far more important and telling. 8) Also, please be willing to get together as soon as possible just to see if we have any chemistry. Let's not waste each other's time. 9) I have a place to play and practice. However, I'm willing to move around to people's houses for practice because I know how hard it is sometimes with families and lives. 10) If you've never been in bands before, don't be discouraged. As long as you know in your heart of hearts that you can sing well and willing to do your part for the "team", then let's get together and see what happens. I can't think of anything else although I'm sure there's a ton more I'm missing. Thanks for your time.
