LINDENHURST, NY — Multiple abandoned storefronts in Lindenhurst were damaged after a fire broke out early Tuesday morning. Suffolk police responded to a 911 call reporting a fire on Montauk Highway, just west of Wellwood Avenue, at 3:15 a.m. Firefighters from the Lindenhurst Fire Department found the blaze broke out at the store on 39 W.
