Some of my neighbors have been getting Animal Control to come and leave traps to catch cats that wander. There is an ordinance that cats cannot run around inside city limits. I live near the Portland Library. Now all my cats are inside or in an enclosure when they go out. I have had to rescue and rehome a cat that was a neighborhood cat and I miss him because of my neighbors. I have been feeding a cat who is very young but very unfixed and now I am about to get the cat fixed and find it another home. I do not want to see this cat end up in the pound and maybe later euthanized. If you think this is your cat, identify and wait for me to get the cat fixed and pay me back $35. Or if you want a sweet young cat, pay me $35 and it will be yours after the surgery. I'm not describing it. If there is a compelling reason you didn't want to pay the $35, I can't wait to hear it. This cat needs to be kept inside now. I don't think it's right but I understand it.
