OLD BROOKVILLE, NY — The long-running New York City cop drama, "Blue Bloods," focusing on the Reagans, a clan of Irish law enforcement members, that stars Tom Selleck, Bridget Moynahan, and Donnie Wahlberg, started filming scenes for an upcoming season on Long Island this week. The show's production crew began filming on Monday at Youngs Farm in Old Brookville, shooting some scenes for an upcoming season, according to Tim Dooley, a manager at the farm. Altogether the production brought along about 200 people and about 20 trucks to the Hegeman's Lane property, Dooley said. The 128-year-old property has a working farm that features a farm stand that sells fresh produce. It also has a bakery with fresh pies that rival the fame of the hit TV show, as well as pot pies, quiches, and soups. Dooley said that he had no inside scoop on the plot and that had not yet had any star sightings, including the big guy himself — the former Magnum P.I. Star and longtime TV icon, Selleck. He said staff at Youngs was on standby at the farm to assist the production crew with the logistics of their operation, if needed. A representative from the production was not immediately available to speak with Patch. "Blue Bloods" has filmed at Youngs before, not to mention other shows like "Madame Secretary," HBO's "The Flight Attendant," and Peacock's "Dr. Death," Dooley said. The show also had plans to film at Planting Fields Arboretum in Oyster Bay on Monday, according to onlocationvactions.com. Dooley said that he was not sure if the show was filmed at the location, but there was staff over there.
