Celebrate TOY's 30 years of service with a special community party and the revealing of our new mural from artist Bree Stallings. Time Out Youth Center was found as a small group in the home of our founder Tonda Taylor on April 8th 1991. 30 years later that small 8 person youth group has expanded to a full service LGBTQ Youth Center affectionately known as TOY Join us as we celebrate this incredible milestone with the unveiling of our first ever mural by artist Bree Stallings and FREE food fun and game for the whole family to enjoy. Adults 21 and welcome to "Raise a glass" to the Center with complimentary drinks from our bar as the mural will be revealed during the 1' o'clock hour Meet our Staff, take tours of our building and learn more about what we have to offer in the coming year. Every birthday party has birthday gifts so we invite you to give to help support our youth supportive services. We will be accepting new, full sized toiletries for our Life Essentials Closet as well as non perishable dry good and can goods for our Food Pantry. In addition we welcome your donations of gifts cards and bus passes for Emergency Financial Assistance program or simply a monetary gift in cash, check or card. We recognize the on going pandemic and ask that you wear your masks and practice social distancing. We will have our 30th anniversary TOY face masks and sanitizer kits on site to keep you safe and for you to take as memorabilia of this special occasion. This event is FREE but we ask that you RSVP so we remain in observance of COVID-19 attendance restrictions.
