South SF Police Seek Suspect Who Forcibly Took Victim's Wallet

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Police in South San Francisco were still searching for strong-armed robbery suspect this week who may have forcibly taken a victim's wallet, officials said. Officers responded to the 300 block of Linden Avenue around 10:50 p.m. on Thursday. A victim reported that he was sitting in his parked vehicle when a man approached his passenger door and attempted to enter the vehicle, South San Francisco Police said in a release. The victim attempted to push the suspect out of his vehicle but in the struggle, the suspect was able to take the victim's wallet, police said. The suspect fled on foot and was last seen running westbound on Miller Avenue. The victim described the suspect as a 25-year-old man, 5 foot 7 inches tall, wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and face mask.
