Join Sadira on select Saturdays as she coaches you through Shimmy Chic Fitness™ - an energetic and fun workout program based on the ancient art of belly dance - but with a modern twist!
This class provides both calorie-burning cardio and muscle-toning moves, along with increased flexibility, grace and sense of self.
Class duration is 1 hour from 2pm-3pm. Followed by a social hour from 3pm-4pm. Make sure to rsvp "Going" on the corresponding dates you'll be attending so we can prepare accordingly! 😊
Cost: $10 for CKJ members or $15 for non-members (invite your friends!)
• Please bring a yoga mat and bottled water.
• Make sure to wear clothing that is fitted and of breathable material. It is not necessary to wear a midriff top, unless you want to.
• Wear a hip scarf, even if it's just plain fabric. (Limited coin belts available for purchase in class).
• Shimmy Chic can be done barefoot. Do not wear socks, they will be too slippery!
• It is recommended to have your hair secured.
This is NOT a technique class, the main goal is to sweat and have fun!
