This workshop incorporates a farm tour of Juniper Gardens Farm & equipment demos on the most useful equipment and tools for market farms. The right tools can make all the difference in successful market farming. Join the Growing Growers training program for an in-person workshop hosted by Cultivate KC & Juniper Gardens Training Farm. Suggested donations are $5 for this workshop. The event will start off with a farm tour of Juniper Gardens Training Farm followed by demos on a variety of farming equipment options for small and medium-sized farms including a BCS tractor and various hand tools. We'll also provide demos on how to clean & sharpen your tools and using silage tarps as a tool to help reduce manual labor!
