NOVATO, CA — The authors of a critically acclaimed book on hip-hop music and culture will be featured interviewed later this week in an event presented by the Novato Public Library. Jeff Chang and Dave "Davey" Cook are the co-authors of "Can't Stop Won't Stop: A History of the Hip-Hop Generation." Their book provides the historical context of hip-hop music and describes its social significance . Chang and Cook have won numerous awards for "Can't Stop Won't Stop" including the American Book Award and the Asian American Literary Award. The duo will discuss hip-hop culture and their work on the definitive book on this genre. The event is suitable for teens over the age of 12.
