LA GRANGE, IL — A Chicago man was arrested earlier this month after a fight in the 600 block of Cossitt Avenue in La Grange, police said.
Ivan Curcic, 27, of Chicago, was charged with battery involving contact of an insulting or provoking nature.
According to an arrest summary, Curcick was arrested after an altercation with another person pertaining to property from a civil matter. The incident happened at 5 p.m. April 1.

Celerino Martinez Perez, 32, of Northlake, was arrested about 4:30 a.m. March 31 on charges of no valid driver's license, operating an uninsured vehicle, speeding and improper use of a signal. A resident in the 500 block of Waiola Avenue told police April 6 that someone made three purchases online at Wayfair using the resident's credit card. The items, which cost $1,126, included a mattress, art and a ceiling fan. No financial loss has been reported. A resident in the 10 block of Bluff Avenue told police April 6 that someone opened an AT&T account in the resident's name. The resident received a past due notice of $1,051.
