MILL VALLEY, CA — A Mill Valley City Task Force on policing will go before the City Council next week, officials said. The Task Force was formed to align the Police Department with the city's stated goal of creating "safe, equitable, and trusted law enforcement." The council directed the Task Force to create a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Work Plan on Dec. 7. The Task Force will update council members on its recommendations at its April 19 meeting.The 6:30 p.m. meeting can be viewed online on Zoom or on the city's website or on local television (Comcast Ch. 27, AT&T Ch. 99).
