Seeking a part-time hire for summer 2021
Up to 20 hours/week (17 weeks at $16/hour. Desired start and end dates May 24 – Sept 29)

This is a part-time position of up to 20 hours/week. The hours are flexible and the schedule may be negotiated upon employment. Work assignments will involve a varied and dynamic range of maintenance tasks on the grounds and in the facility, to include weeding, raking, shoveling, carrying water, mowing and trimming, working safely with chemical products such as solvents or fertilizers, and using power tools and tools with blades and sharp edges.
The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills and the ability to work safely and interact appropriately with the supervisor and with the public. Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform tasks including but not limited to stooping, bending, squatting, lifting up to 50lbs, and standing and/or kneeling for up to four hours per day. Must wear and care for employer-issued personal protective equipment as instructed. Experience using lawn mowers and weed trimmers would be desirable, but will train the right candidate.
The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, willingness and ability to learn quickly and take directions, and a sense of safety, care, and pride in his or her work. S/he will be able to perform work to completion unsupervised once work priorities are communicated and assigned.
