Description
Safe Haven Dog Rescue doesn't have a physical shelter, so we count on the kindness of people like you to open your homes to foster. These deserving dogs are in a shelter in Tennessee and have the chance to tome to Illinois THIS Saturday 4/17, but they need committed foster homes first: Link Male Hound Mix About 2 Years Old Approximately 41lbs (underweight) This sweet boy was found running loose in a rural part of Tennessee. From his weight it appears he has been on his own a while. He Good on leash, friendly with dogs, everyone, and the kids. He does LOVE to run, so he would enjoy either a safe yard or an active person to walk him. He has played in the run yard with other dogs and gets along nicely. Luckily, this fella is heartworm NEGATIVE!! He will make a great addition to any home. Would you be willing to foster him while he looks for his forever family? Meet Maddox! Black and Tan Coonhound Mix About 1.5 years old He is so fun to watch. No concept of personal space. He is very comfortable with people but the rest of the world is new to him. It's very possible that he has spent his entire life tied up in his yard. He's a goof and loves life! Unfortunately, he is heartworm positive and will require treatment. Safe Haven Dog Rescue will take care of all treatment and costs. We also have a large support network for any questions or concerns. Renley Female Mixed Breed About 2 years old and about 47lbs. Heartworm Negative! Renley is a shelter favorite! She is just a bit shy at first but she warms up quickly. Her photos don't do her justice, she has the most BEAUTIFUL coat. She is very shiny and has the prettiest golden brindle legs and feet. She has been in the run yards with other dogs and got along well! She is looking for a foster family to help her find her forever family. While you foster, Safe Haven Dog Rescue provides a crate, food, leash, collar, and all medical care at our participating vet offices in Naperville, Wheaton, and Elmhurst. Heartworm treatment is done at Fox Valley Animal Welfare League in North Aurora. We also have a very supportive foster network to answer your questions, provide support, and guide you along the way. If you are interested in fostering a dog or puppy you see here, please email [email protected] for an application. You can also download our application and email it back to [email protected] using this link: https://drive.google.com/file/...
