Below is a summary of COVID-19 data on Tuesday for Oconee and Clarke counties and for the entire 10-county Northeast Health District. The Northeast Health District added 77 new cases of COVID-19, and the seven-day rolling average of added cases increased.The District did not add any new confirmed deaths from the disease, and the seven-day rolling average of added deaths remained unchanged.Oconee County reported two new cases, and its seven-day rolling average of added cases dropped slightly.Clarke County reported 19 new cases, and its seven-day rolling average of added cases increased.The Northeast Health District, with 14.8 percent of its population fully vaccinated, is lagging the state, with 16.5 percent of the population vaccinated.Oconee County has 22.4 percent of its population vaccination, while Clarke County has 16.2 percent.For details and for state comparisons, please click through to Oconee County Observations.
