Warehouse Technician We are currently looking to hire several people with warehouse experience. Candidates are encouraged to apply ASAP as we have an immediate need in the Norcross Area. There are two positions that we are looking to fill: - 1st shift Receiving Associate - Warehouse Associate Receiving Associate Roles and Responsibilities: Identify shipping tracking numbers on a shipping label, accurately catalog shipments as they arrive. Use a web-based form to process shipments into inventory. Training provided, but basic computer knowledge is necesary. Use Excel spreadsheets to generate received receipts/reports. Training provided, but basic Excel knowledge is necesary. Perpetually update shipment log entries as they maneuver through the warehouse, as well as processed. Training provided, but basic computer knowledge is necesary. Interpret/translate part numbers in a technological environment (quickly). This is a matter of attention-to-detail and information retention. Reconcile lists of materials and quantities with processed hardware accurately. This is the simplest of the requirements. Respond to shipment inquiries professionally, using Microsoft Outlook. Warehouse Associate Roles and Responsibilities: Forklift experience is a MUST Performs material receipt, storage, and kitting operations Works independently to store/ stage material in warehouse; places material in appropriate designated areas Uses computer and barcode equipment to process transactions for appropriate inventory control systems. Loads and unloads material from trucks and moves material throughout warehouse Maintain package quality and integrity while performing duties in a timely and efficient manner Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized work area Follows written and oral instructions Loading miscellaneous items, stacking pallets and shells Qualifications: - Minimum age 18 years old - Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required - Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job - Ability to read, write and speak English - Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines - Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets - Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology - Less than high school education; or up to 1-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience - Forklift certification preferred; not required - Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology - Frequent grasping, bending, kneeling, squatting, exposure to weather, exposure to noise, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 50 lbs. - Repeated standing - Ability to demonstrate initiative and teamwork - Ability to provide quality management Compensation: - Starting pay $10-$16 (depending on experience) - Weekly Pay - Referral Bonuses of up to $250 for referrals that result in a placement (Ask for details!)
